During the Great Depression a group of women saddled up their horses and delivered books through the Appalachian Mountains. In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, we are bringing back the Packhorse Librarians in the 21st Century style. Free books delivered throughout the Appalachian Mountains!

Donations are NOT tax deductible at this time. As this is a new project for us, we are still in the process of applying for 501c3 Tax-Exempt Status.
